La producción de "A Christmas Candle" se inició esta semana en la Isla del Hombre, en el Reino Unido.

Dirigida por John Stephenson, Contará con la estrella del drama "Les Miserables" Samantha Barks, Hans Matheson y Lesley Manville con la cantante Susan Boyle hace su aparición primera película.

Cuando el cuidador de la vela de la Navidad un pueblo soñoliento se pierde, lo milagroso y lo humano colisionan sobre la incidencia y la producción de Big Book Media, co-producido con madera de pino Pictures.

Tom Newman y Lee Candace para producir impacto, con Lee también escrito el guión junto a Eric Newman. Hannah líder, el ex co-propietario de Capitol Films, produce para los medios del Libro Grande. Steve Christian, Ivan Dunleavy, Huw Penallt Jones y Lockhart Brian son los productores ejecutivos. Fotos de Pinewood distribuirá en el Reino Unido.

Samantha Barks, dijo: "Acabo de aterrizar de la Academia de Hollywood que tenía una hora para deshacer y rehacer y llegar a establecer. Estoy muy emocionado de ser parte de la vela de la Navidad y estoy disfrutando cada segundo ".

Sylvester McCoy, John Hannah, Barbara Flynn y James Cosmo también están en el elenco.

Hablando de su primera actuación papel Susan Boyle dijo: "No puedo creer lo que estoy haciendo una película. Estoy muy emocionado de ser parte de La Vela de Navidad. Todo el mundo en conjunto es una delicia trabajar con él y que es una experiencia fantástica para ser parte del equipo. Estoy disfrutando mucho de vestirse con trajes de época y retroceder en el tiempo y aunque es muy frío filmación en exteriores, llevo calzoncillos largos debajo de mi bullicio ".

Talento conseguido de Gran Bretaña concursante Boyle álbum debut, I Dreamed a Dream se convirtió en éxito de ventas en el Reino Unido álbum debut de todos los tiempos.

Samantha Barks and Susan Boyle start shoot on Christmas Candle

Production started this week on The Christmas Candle on location in the UK and the Isle of Man.

Directed by John Stephenson, the drama stars Les Miserables’ Samantha Barks, Hans Matheson and Lesley Manville with singer Susan Boyle making her first feature appearance.

When a sleepy village’s legendary Christmas Candle goes missing, the miraculous and the human collide on the Impact and Big Book Media production, co-produced with Pinewood Pictures.
Tom Newman and Candace Lee produce for Impact, with Lee also writing the script with Eric Newman. Hannah Leader, former co-owner of Capitol Films, produces for Big Book Media. Steve Christian, Ivan Dunleavy, Huw Penallt Jones and Brian Lockhart are executive producers. Pinewood Pictures will distribute in the UK.
Samantha Barks said: “Having just landed from the Academy Awards I had an hour to unpack and repack and get to set. I’m very excited to be part of The Christmas Candle and I’m loving every second.”
Sylvester McCoy, John Hannah, Barbara Flynn and James Cosmo are also in the cast.
Talking about her first acting role Susan Boyle said: “I can’t believe I’m making a film. I’m very excited to be a part of The Christmas Candle. Everyone on set is a delight to work with and it’s a fantastic experience to be part of the team. I’m really enjoying getting dressed in the period costumes and stepping back in time and although it’s very cold filming on location, I’m wearing long johns under my bustle.”
Britain’s Got Talent contestant Boyle’s debut album, I Dreamed a Dream became the UK’s best-selling debut album of all time.
